Seven Essential elements of successful change
This video is very insightful for school leaders and leaders of e-learning. Thank you. The reference to the seven essential elements of successful change relates closely to the work of Thousand and Villa in 1995 on 'Managing Complex Change". http://donalomahony.edublogs.org/2011/03/02/visionskillsincentivesresourcesaction-plan/

Yes, I agree with Tessa. Very useful - thank you. The Ministry of Education's e-Learning Planning Framework [http://www.elearning.tki.org.nz/Professional-learning/e-Learning-Planning-Framework2] includes a dimension on the importance of strategic planning and active leadership if schools are to lift their capability in the way ICTs are integrated into teaching and learning. The framework shows how leadership might develop and extend - and the models that Charles Newton cites here would be useful to offer a way to move towards. Check out e-Learning: Leadership on TKI [http://www.elearning.tki.org.nz/Leadership] for further resources, and the community space dedicated to the same topic [http://www.vln.school.nz/pg/groups/53306/elearning-leadership/].
