Want to hear more from Yong Zhao? The following video is from the Centre for the Future of Elementary Education at Curtis School

Redefining Excellence

"Everyone wants an 'excellent' education for their children and their students. But what does that really mean? Yong Zhao examines the misconceptions of national education policy, the myth of the 'model minority,' how teachers can help other people's children out of their families' basements, and why everyone is in love with the Chinese education ... except the Chinese."

The first thing that comes into my mind with when I come across the word 'globalization' is destruction. On the other hand, opportunity and employment. On education, globalization has a great impact. It is important to keep the students updated with the current technology and school's curriculum should have the peak potential to adhere to these needs.
